Could it be a finished object? Indeed it is! I finished Liesl last night while relaxing on our porch. My goal with this project was to use as much of the yarn as I possibly could - I only had two skeins of the Malabrigo Worsted and I didn't want to waste a bit. In hindsight, I probably should have to a normal bind-off on the bottom instead of the picot edge. That would have given me a big more yarn to go on the sleeves. I ended up with a bit left over but I was starting to get really worried towards the end. Maybe the sleeves are a bit short but I like them. I'm wearing this today with a white tank and a flowered skirt. Probably completely inappropriate for Orlando in March but I don't care!
Yay FO! Yay Ysolda Teague!!! I love her patterns but this is the first I actually purchased...it won't be the last!
Just got back from a 6-miler (doesn't quite make up for the missed 10-miler yesterday but oh well). Now it's time for a quick visit to Bed, Bath, & Beyond to return our Cuisinart Rice Cooker we bought a couple of weeks ago (quick review - it OVERFLOWS no matter how small a batch of rice you make!!!) and then off to my folks' house to watch the UCONN women take on Iowa State. Go Huskies!!!!!
